Amanda Pischel
Special Education Advocate

Amanda Pischel is an education rights legal consultant with a wealth of experience at the intersection of law, psychology, and education. At Cirkiel Law Group, Amanda works closely with families to safeguard their children’s rights under the Texas Education Agency (TEA) guidelines, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). She provides informed guidance through Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, ensuring that Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are not only legally compliant but also tailored to the unique needs of each child.

A graduate of St. Edward’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Amanda draws on an extensive background in both secondary and collegiate education. This foundation, combined with her training as a biogenetic practitioner, allows Amanda to take a holistic and multidimensional approach when assisting families. Her expertise in adolescent psychology equips them to interpret the educational, emotional, and developmental needs of students, bridging the gap between legal advocacy and individualized support.

Throughout her career, Amanda has consistently demonstrated a commitment to empowering parents with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate complex special education systems. Her advocacy extends beyond compliance, focusing on elevating the voices of children who cannot advocate for themselves and ensuring that parents feel supported, informed, and confident in asserting their child’s rights. With a strong command of both legal frameworks and educational practices, Amanda provides invaluable insight to the firm and its clients. Her ability to combine technical expertise with compassionate guidance underscores her role as a trusted partner to families and a skilled consultant to the legal team.
